The New York University Program in Higher Education seeks candidates for Assistant or Associate rank who bring broad experience in research and university teaching. We offer an MA in higher education/student personnel and a research-intensive PhD program. Both programs are highly selective and admit full and part-time students.

Responsibilities: Teaching in both the MA and PhD programs; student advisement and program support for the MA program; advisement and chairing dissertations for PhD students; leadership of and participation in research initiatives.

Qualifications: Expertise in one or more of the following: student development; student learning; organizational culture; policy and leadership. PhD in higher education or related field. Must have strong record of research and publication. Professional experience in student affairs/higher education administration desirable.

Send letter of application, curriculum vitae, five letters of reference, and at least one sample of scholarly writing. The five letters of reference should be sent directly to the committee by the referees. Review of candidates will begin October 10th and continue until the position is filled.
