Earned doctorate preferred in business, education, workforce education or related discipline preferred. Those A.B.D. or enrolled in a doctoral program will be considered with a contingency contract. Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed a business teacher education program and have at least three years of experience teaching business education at K-12/post-secondary levels. Knowledge and experience in teaching business teacher education (supervision of student teachers, instructional strategies and assessment) and two or more of the following areas: business communications, introduction to business, and training and development. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations is preferred. Recommendation for hiring is needed by the majority of the regular, full-time department faculty. Finalist(s) for the position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process and teaching demonstration as judged by the department faculty. Competitive salary per collective bargaining agreement.
